Castellum board chair, member to depart amid shareholder-called meeting

Castellum AB's Chair, Louise Richnau, and board member Stefan Ränk will step down from their positions at an upcoming Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM), the company announced.

The EGM was requested by Akelius Apartments Ltd to address board composition and remuneration.

Richnau stated Akelius publicly sought to steer the CEO recruitment, indicating a lack of confidence in the board's process.

She added that a representative of Akelius made it clear they lacked confidence in her as Chair.

Ränk also cited the board's inability to take responsibility for governance and CEO recruitment as his reason for leaving.

Consequently, Castellum has paused its ongoing search for a new CEO.
