Reckitt Benckiser Group on Wednesday reported a 7.0% rise in third-quarter like-for-like net revenue, driven by strong growth in emerging markets and a recovery in its nutrition business.
The maker of Lysol disinfectant and Durex condoms posted total net revenue of 3.61 billion British Pounds for the three months ending Sept. 30.
The company's core health and hygiene business saw like-for-like sales increase by 6.7%, led by a 15.5% surge in emerging markets.
Sales in Europe and North America also returned to growth despite what the company called a challenging consumer landscape.
"We have delivered a strong third-quarter performance with LFL net revenue up 6.7% in Core Reckitt," Chief Executive Officer Kris Licht said in a statement.
"We returned to growth in Developed Markets against a challenging consumer landscape and continued to deliver outsized growth in Emerging Markets."
The Mead Johnson Nutrition division's revenue jumped 22.0%, as the business recovered from the significant impact of a tornado that damaged a U.S. warehouse in July 2024.
Reckitt maintained its full-year forecast, expecting group like-for-like net revenue growth of between 3% and 4%.
