Mr. Hajman will leave the group by the end of the year, concluding a tenure as permanent CEO that began in May 2023.

The leadership change comes as Husqvarna prepares for its next strategic phase.

“We are entering the next strategy phase where Glen is playing a central role in shaping our updated strategy, which will be presented during a Capital Markets Day in December”, said Torbjörn Lööf, Chairman of Husqvarna.

Mr. Instone, 48, joined Husqvarna in 2002 and has been part of its group management since 2018, previously serving as chief financial officer.

The Stockholm-based company, which makes products including chainsaws and robotic lawnmowers, reported net sales of 48.4 billion Swedish kronor in 2024.
