Serco Group PLC on Tuesday announced it has won a contract with the U.S. Air Force worth up to $972 million and has appointed a new chief executive for its North American division.
The five-year contract was awarded to MT&S, a mission training business Serco acquired from Northrop Grumman, the company said.
MT&S will be the sole provider of enhanced simulator and training services at over 20 locations to improve warfighter skills and operational readiness.
The deal has a ceiling value of 720 million British Pounds and is expected to generate around $60 million in revenue from task orders during 2026, according to the company.
Separately, Serco named Michael LaRouche as the new CEO of its North American division, effective Oct. 1.
Mr. LaRouche, who previously held leadership positions at Science Applications International Corporation and Lockheed Martin, will lead a division that has more than doubled its revenue to about $2 billion since 2017.
"We are proud that MT&S has been selected to deliver the critically important AFMS3 contract for the US Air Force and are well positioned to deliver innovative, technology-enabled solutions which enhance training and maintain the highest levels of mission readiness for the US Armed Forces," said Serco Group Chief Executive Anthony Kirby.
