Haleon on Monday announced that its chairman, Sir Dave Lewis, will step down at the end of the year to pursue a new executive role.
Lewis, who has chaired the board since the consumer-health company's listing in 2022, will depart on Dec. 31, 2025, according to a statement.
He will be succeeded by Vindi Banga, the company's current Senior Independent Director, effective Jan. 1, 2026.
Banga has served on Haleon's board since its public debut and previously spent 33 years at Unilever, where he was a member of the executive board.
He is also the current chair of UK Government Investments Limited and previously served as a senior independent director at GSK.
"My decision to step down is a personal one and is related to a new unique opportunity which I wish to take forward," Lewis said.
"After more than three years Haleon is now well established as an independent listed company."
Haleon, which owns brands such as Sensodyne toothpaste and Advil painkillers, was spun off from GSK in July 2022.
