He is set to formally take up the chief executive role at Hammerson on Jan. 1, 2026, the company said.

The move marks another change for Derwent's board.

In August, the company announced that Executive Director Nigel George intends to retire and step down from the board on March 31, 2026.

Derwent London is the largest London office-focused REIT, with a commercial real estate portfolio valued at approximately 5.2 billion British Pounds as of June 2025.
