Global sales of Genmab's key cancer drug Darzalex jumped 23% to $3.54 billion in the second quarter compared to the same period a year ago, according to a company announcement.
The sales figures for the multiple myeloma treatment were reported by partner Johnson & Johnson, which markets the drug globally.
The strong quarterly performance, up from $2.88 billion in the second quarter of 2024, reflects continued robust demand for the therapy.
Sales in the U.S. accounted for $2.02 billion of the total, while sales in the rest of the world reached $1.52 billion.
The second-quarter results also showed a 9.3% increase over the $3.24 billion in sales from the first quarter of 2025.
Genmab, a Danish biotechnology company, developed Darzalex and receives royalties from Johnson & Johnson on its worldwide net sales.
These royalties are a primary driver of Genmab's revenue, as noted in its first-quarter financial results.
The reported sales cover both the original intravenous version of the drug and a subcutaneous formulation sold in the U.S. as Darzalex Faspro.
