Swedish industrial group Atlas Copco said Thursday it has finalized its acquisition of National Tank & Equipment, a U.S. specialty rental company, continuing a recent string of global deals.

The Houston, Texas-based company, known as NTE, provides fluid transfer and storage solutions to the energy, infrastructure, and industrial sectors.

According to Atlas Copco, NTE had revenues of approximately 218 million U.S. dollars in 2024 and has 349 employees.

The purchase price was not disclosed.

The acquired business will become part of Atlas Copco's Specialty Rental division within its Power Technique Business Area, the company said.

The deal, first announced in July, marks the company's entry into the U.S. specialty dewatering market.

“With this acquisition we are entering into the specialty dewatering market in the USA, and we are further extending the portfolio of specialty rental solutions we can offer to our customers”, Andrew Walker, Business Area President for Power Technique, said when the deal was initially announced.

The acquisition is the latest in a series for the Swedish company, which this week also finalized the purchases of Italian pump manufacturer CRI-MAN and Hong Kong-based measurement technology firm SUTO.
