Finnish retail conglomerate Kesko Oyj has completed its acquisition of Danish builders' merchant Tømmergaarden A/S, marking the finalization of three strategic Danish acquisitions.

This move significantly expands Kesko's Danish subsidiary, Davidsen, transforming it into a major nationwide player in the Danish builders' merchant market, according to the company.

Tømmergaarden, which reported approximately 191 million euros in net sales and 5.5 million euros in EBIT in 2024, will be consolidated into Kesko Group's financial reporting from June 1, 2025.

The combined debt-free enterprise value for all three acquired companies, including Roslev Trælasthandel and CF Petersen & Søn, totals approximately 222 million euros.

Kesko's President and CEO, Jorma Rauhala, stated that the Danish growth strategy is proceeding as planned, with continued organic and acquisition-led expansion in Northern Europe.
