NKT A/S raised its full-year 2025 financial outlook on Thursday, citing strong performance driven by high demand for power cables used in renewable energy projects.
The Danish company said it now expects revenue of approximately 2.65 billion to 2.75 billion euros, an increase from its previous forecast of 2.37 billion to 2.52 billion euros.
It also lifted its guidance for operational earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization to a range of 360 million to 390 million euros, from a prior 330 million to 380 million euros.
According to the company, the improved outlook was driven by its Solutions and Service & Accessories business lines.
NKT has benefited from the global transition to green energy, which requires extensive high-voltage cable networks to connect offshore wind farms and upgrade power grids.
The company's high-voltage order backlog stood at 10.7 billion euros at the end of the first quarter, reflecting the strong demand.
To meet this demand, NKT is in the process of a roughly 1 billion euro investment program announced in 2023 to expand its production capacity.
The company noted the outlook is subject to assumptions including the satisfactory execution of projects and stable market conditions.
