Elekta has named Jakob Just-Bomholt as its new President and Chief Executive Officer, effective September 1, 2025, the company announced.
Just-Bomholt, previously CEO of 3Shape, a global innovator in 3D scanning for the dental industry, will join Elekta in August for a transition period.
Dr Laurent Leksell, Elekta's Founder and Chairman, stated that Just-Bomholt's "strategic leadership and international experience" make him well-suited to drive profitable growth.
Just-Bomholt expressed honor in joining Elekta, a leader in precision radiation therapy, and looks forward to "delivering life-changing solutions to patients around the world."
The company focuses on improving cancer care through sustainable, outcome-driven solutions.
