Lagercrantz Group AB has acquired Orax, a Swedish technology company specializing in products for the funeral and cemetery sectors, the company announced.
Orax, which generates annual revenues of approximately 50 million Swedish Kronor with good profitability, develops and manufactures items for coffin handling, grave safety, and cemetery maintenance.
Andreas Heder, Head of Division Control at Lagercrantz, stated that Orax has a "stable core business with a strong market position."
Orax Managing Director Magnus Thordmark expressed anticipation for continued development with Lagercrantz as the new owner.
The acquisition, effective June 2025, is expected to have a marginally positive impact on Lagercrantz's earnings per share.
