Spectris on Friday issued a routine statement confirming its share capital, a procedural step as the British technology firm's 4.15 billion British Pound takeover by private equity firm KKR moves toward completion.
The provider of precision-measurement instruments said in a regulatory filing that it has 99,411,971 total voting rights.
According to the company, it had 104,446,214 ordinary shares in issue as of Friday, with 5,034,243 of those shares held in treasury.
KKR agreed to acquire Spectris in August after a bidding war with rival firm Advent International, with a recommended offer valued at 41.75 British Pounds per share.
The offer comprises 41.47 British Pounds in cash and an interim dividend of 28 pence per share, according to filings from August.
The deal has since received key regulatory approvals from authorities in the European Union and the United States, among others.
Spectris has previously said it expects the transaction to become effective in or by the first quarter of 2026.
