Croda International PLC reported a 4.4% rise in third-quarter sales, driven by its beauty and crop protection units, and confirmed it is on track with a plan to deliver 100 million British pounds in annualized cost savings.

The British specialty chemicals company said Thursday that group sales for the three months ended Sept. 30 rose to 424.7 million British pounds.

On a constant currency basis, which strips out currency fluctuations, sales were up 6.5%, the company said.

The performance was led by an improvement in its Beauty Actives business, double-digit growth in Fragrances and Flavours, and a continued recovery in Crop Protection.

Croda said its multi-year transformation plan is progressing as expected, with 25 million British pounds in savings anticipated for the current year.

The company expanded the program's target in July.

"We have identified a further £60m of cost savings, taking the total to £100m of annualised savings by the end of 2027," Chief Executive Officer Steve Foots said in a statement at the time.

Despite what it called a "more challenging trading environment," Croda maintained its full-year 2025 outlook.

It continues to expect to deliver an adjusted profit before tax of between 265 million and 295 million British pounds at constant currency.
