The acquisition will provide Vodafone's business and public sector clients with access to an enhanced suite of digital services, particularly in cloud management and artificial intelligence solutions.

Vodafone said the transaction is part of its business division's ambition to accelerate growth in security, managed services, and cloud.

The company is acquiring Skaylink from funds managed by private-equity firm Waterland and expects the deal to close by the end of March 2026, subject to regulatory approvals.

The deal is the latest strategic move under Chief Executive Margherita Della Valle, following the recent completion of an acquisition in Romania and a major investment in 5G spectrum in Turkey.
