Danish medical device maker Ambu A/S on Wednesday launched a new strategy aimed at achieving global leadership in the single-use endoscopy market as it reported full-year results in line with its guidance.

The new 'ZOOM AHEAD' strategy follows what the company called a strong turnaround under its 'ZOOM IN' plan, which was launched in November 2022.

"As we kicked off our new financial year, we launched our next-era strategy, ZOOM AHEAD, designed to accelerate our growth trajectory and deepen our impact in healthcare," Chief Executive Britt Meelby Jensen said.

"Our long-term aspiration remains clear: to achieve global endoscopy leadership."

For the fiscal year that ended in September, Ambu reported organic revenue growth of 13.1% and an operating profit margin of 13.0% before special items.

The company's performance was driven by its Endoscopy Solutions division, which grew 12.4% organically in the fourth quarter.

For the new 2025/26 fiscal year, Ambu forecast organic growth of 10% to 13% and an operating profit margin of 12% to 14%.

The margin outlook is partially offset by short-term tariff costs, which the company said it is taking action to mitigate.

Ambu also proposed a total cash distribution of 260 million Danish kroner through a dividend and a share buy-back program.
