Saab's offer includes the Gripen E/F aircraft, associated equipment, and a long-term offset package designed to boost Thailand's national security, create jobs, and attract investments.

Saab President and CEO Micael Johansson stated, "Gripen E/F is the best solution to provide Thailand with independent airpower for the future which will contribute significantly to the nation’s safety and security."

Thailand has been operating Gripen C/D models since 2011.
