A hard cap is the upper limit on the amount of investor commitments a fund will accept, though the final size depends on the outcome of the fundraising process, the company said in a statement.

EQT said the fund’s investment strategy is expected to be materially in line with its predecessor fund, EQT X.

The Stockholm-based firm noted in a recent report that fundraising for EQT XI was progressing well, supported by strong exit activity.

The new fund is expected to begin making investments in the first half of 2026, according to the company.
