Genmab said Wednesday that updated results from a mid-stage trial showed its cancer drug epcoritamab could be safely administered outside of a hospital for most patients with a common type of lymphoma.

Genmab A/S said Tuesday the U.S. Food and Drug Administration granted Breakthrough Therapy Designation to its experimental cancer drug, rinatabart sesutecan, for a type of advanced endometrial cancer.

Genmab said Thursday its cancer drug combination significantly cut the risk of disease progression or death in patients with a common type of slow-growing lymphoma that has returned or resisted prior treatment.

Danish drugmaker Genmab raised its full-year financial forecast on Thursday, citing strong royalty revenue from its blockbuster cancer drug Darzalex and positive clinical trial results for its newer lymphoma treatment, epcoritamab.

Global sales of Genmab's key cancer drug Darzalex jumped 23% to $3.54 billion in the second quarter compared to the same period a year ago, according to a company announcement.

Genmab said its cancer drug epcoritamab, when used in a combination therapy, helped a majority of patients with a hard-to-treat lymphoma become eligible for a potentially curative stem cell transplant.
