Danish pharmaceutical company ALK on Wednesday raised its full-year financial outlook for 2025 for the third time this year, citing strong business momentum in Europe.
The company said it now expects revenue to grow by 13% to 15% in local currencies, up from its previous forecast of 12% to 14% issued in August.
ALK also lifted its projection for its operating profit margin to approximately 26%, from a prior forecast of 25%.
The upgrade reflects the company's performance in the third quarter and its outlook for the remainder of the year, according to a company statement.
Growth is expected to come from higher sales volumes across all regions and product lines, as ALK anticipates treating more patients with its allergy immunotherapy and anaphylaxis products.
The improved profit forecast is fueled by the revenue growth, along with gross margin improvements and optimizations, the company said.
The allergy-focused drugmaker first raised its 2025 revenue guidance in August from an initial range of 9% to 13% growth, also pointing to strong European sales.
ALK also announced it would release its third-quarter report later on Wednesday, a day earlier than previously scheduled.
