Danish pharmaceutical company ALK-Abelló on Wednesday raised its full-year financial outlook for 2025, citing strong third-quarter sales of its allergy treatments and adrenaline auto-injectors.
The company said it now expects revenue to grow by 13% to 15% in local currencies, up from a previous forecast of 12% to 14% issued in August.
ALK also lifted its projection for its operating profit margin to approximately 26%, from a prior forecast of 25%.
The upgrade followed a third quarter where total revenue increased by 18% in local currencies to 1.53 billion Danish Krone.
Operating profit for the quarter rose 41% to 423 million Danish Krone, according to the company.
Sales of its tablet-based allergy treatments grew 17%, while sales of other products, including its anaphylaxis portfolio, rose 42%.
CEO Peter Halling said the company saw "a continued positive momentum in the execution of key strategic growth initiatives, most notably the roll-out of respiratory tablets for young children, which are ahead of plan."
"This reinforces our confidence in our ability to deliver sustained, profitable growth by reaching more patients with evidence-based allergy and anaphylaxis solutions," Halling said in a statement.
